Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a complex developmental condition that involves persistent challenges in social interaction, speech and nonverbal communication, and restricted/repetitive behaviors. The effects of ASD and the severity of symptoms are different in each person.
In this episode, I chat with Deniece Campos Landry about what ASD is and how she and her family have found ways around the challenges that come with ASD. Deniece is a mother of an individual with ASD and the founder of Global Panda, a job search portal database for Disabled college graduates that are entering the workforce. She has been working with people with ASD for over a decade and is active in her community in helping people learn more about autism.
