The ABIDE Podcast With Gretchen Stevenson

Guilt and sin are inseparable companions, akin to bread and butter or cake and ice cream. One hardly exists without the other. Guilt, that internal pang, is Satan's tool that plagues all people. His deceitful whispers echo inside: "You've faltered," "You're unworthy," "You're just like the rest..." Guilt inevitably invites shame and condemnation into our lives. In this episode, you will find hope and healing as you witness the beauty of God's extravagant grace extended freely to all who turn to Him in sincere confession.

What better word is there than ‘rock’ to represent God’s permanence, protection, and enduring faithfulness? Rocks have served as markers, monuments, and memorials throughout history that testify and lay claim to stories of both victory and defeat over thousands of years. In this episode, you'll find hope because as you pray to Yahweh Tsuri, you can trust that you are praying to the LORD who sees you, knows you, and will fight to protect you. He can take it whether you need to weep bitterly before the LORD or rid your heart of anger, fatigue, and doubt. The LORD is safe and welcomes your thoughts, feelings, and emotions.

Meditation: El Kanna, God Is A Jealous God

The jealousy referenced by God in this passage differs significantly from the everyday "green-eyed monster" often associated with the term today. When we use the term "jealousy," we typically refer to coveting something possessed by another that we lack ourselves. However, in today's episode, we will see that God's jealousy is not rooted in a desire for something He lacks, but rather in our failure to give Him what rightfully belongs to Him - our worship, praise, adoration, and honor.
