In this episode I tell you about my experience with a UVA research study designed to test a Fully Closed Loop (FCL) insulin delivery system with meal anticipation (FCL+). This is different to the likes of Control IQ in that you don't have to manually bolus! A complex algorithm is used in the DIAS application on a phone which speaks to the pump and gives it directions! How cool is that?! Listen in to hear my experience and learn more about the system.
