Stargirl.
Geoff Johns has written some of the biggest stories in the DC Comic universe over the years, but his most personal project was his first, Stars and S.T.R.I.P.E in which he created the character of Courtney Whitmore who was based on his sister that had passed in a plane crash and who has now been brought to life in her own show on the DC Universe app.
In this episode of The 602 Club hosts Matthew Rushing and Christy Morris talk about the new show, Stargirl. We discuss our familiarity with the character, comic to screen, Courtney Whitmore, the tone and pace, Luke Wilson, Amy Smart, Trae Romano, Brainwave, connecting, soundtrack and score, ratings and our recommendations.
