Episode Summary: Santos confides in Ryan about Chanelle's sex strike, leading them to analyze possible reasons for her behavior. They discover that Santos unintentionally hurt Chanelle by rejecting her phone call while out with friends. Ryan advises Santos to make a romantic gesture instead of offering sex. Meanwhile, Ryan opens up to Santos about his own relationship issues with Karen, sharing his fear of inadequacy due to Karen's past relationship.

Later, Ryan discusses Joey's reluctance to upgrade grades with Karen, who reveals that Joey has a crush on a classmate named Elisabeth. Back at the barbershop, Santos breaks down and reveals that Chanelle is unable to have children. Ryan encourages him to give Chanelle space and be there for her, assuring him that their relationship can survive this hurdle.

Meanwhile, Karen discovers the reason behind Joey's resistance to changing grades and decides to let him stay in his current class for now. The episode ends with Ryan receiving a distressing text from Santos, indicating that Chanelle is in the hospital.
