Later, Ryan discusses Joey's reluctance to upgrade grades with Karen, who reveals that Joey has a crush on a classmate named Elisabeth. Back at the barbershop, Santos breaks down and reveals that Chanelle is unable to have children. Ryan encourages him to give Chanelle space and be there for her, assuring him that their relationship can survive this hurdle.
Meanwhile, Karen discovers the reason behind Joey's resistance to changing grades and decides to let him stay in his current class for now. The episode ends with Ryan receiving a distressing text from Santos, indicating that Chanelle is in the hospital.

Episode Summary: In a hospital room, Karen and Ryan find Chanelle alone, visibly depressed and in tears. Chanelle reveals she fainted due to not eating or drinking enough, blaming her situation. Karen consoles her while Ryan tries to understand the situation. Chanelle explains she can't be a mother to Santos' children due to her infertility, feeling it's her fault. Karen urges her to talk to Santos and not push him away. Chanelle decides to break up with Santos, claiming she still has feelings for Ryan.
Karen disagrees with her decision and warns her about the consequences. In an attempt to make Chanelle jealous, Karen and Ryan plan for Ryan to take Santos to a strip club and send pictures to Chanelle. Karen and Chanelle discuss their plan while Ryan and Santos visit the strip club, where they take staged photos.
Later, Karen shows Chanelle the pictures, making her believe Santos has moved on quickly. Chanelle realizes the photos are fake and confronts Karen, who admits her involvement. Chanelle decides to take Santos back, realizing she doesn't want to lose him. In the end, Chanelle and Santos reconcile, expressing their love and commitment to face any challenges together.
