On Christmas Eve 2008, Bruce Pardo walked into the Ortega home and murdered 9 of the 25 people inside. Sylvia Pardo filed for divorce from Bruce, and that divorce was finalized one week before her murder. Bruce Pardo was ordered by the Court to give his ex-wife $1,700 in alimony and $10,000 in backpay. He didn't want to give Sylvia a dime. Instead, he will dress as Santa and walk into a home on Christmas Eve looking to murder as many people in the Ortega family as possible.
