Awarded the Nobel Peace Prize with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in 2005 for which I worked for over 14 years, I have over twenty years’ experience in international development, primarily in Africa. M.B.A.-level educated in international management with a broad set of skills in international affairs, diplomacy, strategic leadership, performance improvement, and client relations, I helped managers and institutions to positively impact many lives at a personal, organizational, and sometimes continental level. I consider one of my greatest achievements managing a project to help Zambia treat cancer patients.
In addition, I have written a few articles on leadership, management, fighting cancer, and African development and have been a guest speaker on webinars providing solutions to entrepreneurs and the youth for Nigerian businesses post-COVID-19. Since August 2020, I have also been a guest on several podcasts on finding your purpose in life.
My other passion includes coffee, for which I have been writing about under my personal blog fromcoffeewithlove.com since 2007, for which I was featured on CNN's website for Drinking Coffee in October 2020. In June 2019 I was invited by the International Coffee Organisation to participate in an EU Coffee Symposium on the UN Sustainable Development Goals #sdgs, where I interacted with industry giants like Starbucks, Illy, and Nestle to discuss the #coffee value chain. I documented my experience in an article on how Africa can benefit from the coffee value chain.
I have recently moved to Dubai to start another journey where I plan to offer specialized advisory services to leaders, CEOs, and senior government officials.
If you would like to work with me in setting up or improving your coffee business, setting up a cancer management service, motivating your staff, and mentoring the next generation, please contact me.

Her Highness Princess Märtha Louise was born at Rikshospitalet University Hospital in Oslo on 22 September 1971. She is the oldest child of His Majesty King Harald and Her Majesty Queen Sonja. She has one brother, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Haakon.

The Princess was named after her father’s mother, Crown Princess Märtha, and her great-great grandmother, Queen Louise, the mother of King Haakon VII. A constitutional amendment adopted in 1990 established the right of eldest born child to succeed to the Throne regardless of gender; however, as the amendment entered into force long after the Princess and Crown Prince were born, it was decided that males would continue to take precedence over females for children born prior to 1990.

Family

Princess Märtha Louise became engaged to the author Mr Ari Behn on 13 December 2001. The couple were married in Nidaros Cathedral in Trondheim on 24 May 2002. Bishop Finn Wagle presided over the ceremony. In 2016 the couple decided to part ways, and they were divorced in 2017.

The Princess and Mr Behn have three daughters, Miss Maud Angelica Behn, born at Rikshospitalet University Hospital in Oslo on 29 April 2003, Miss Leah Isadora Behn, born at the couple’s summer home, Bloksbjerg at Hankø, on 8 April 2005 and Miss Emma Tallulah Behn born at Lommedalen on 29. September 2008.

All three were christened in the Palace Chapel: Miss Maud Angelica 2 July 2003, Miss Leah Isadora 16 June 2005 and Miss Emma Tallulah 20 January 2009.

The Princess lives with her daughters in Lommedalen, in Bærum outside of Oslo.

Official duties

Princess Märtha Louise undertakes official engagements as a representative of the Royal Family in areas concerning persons with disabilities.

She is also active as patron of eight organisations, and as Chair of Princess Märtha Louise's Fund. Allocations from the fund are awarded to projects that aim to benefit children with disabilities.

The Princess is a member of the board of Stiftelsen Vi (the Vi Foundation), established to work on behalf of disabled people for the equal right to a meaningful life.

Business enterprise

Princess Märtha Louise has long been engaged in cultural work, and especially in disseminating traditional Norwegian fairy tales to a wider audience. Among other activities, she has starred in a storytelling series on Norwegian television. The Princess is the author of several books and audiobooks, and has participated in the production of television programmes for children.

The Princess established a sole proprietorship on 1 January 2002 under which she conducts her independent professional activities in the cultural sphere and as a Rosen therapist. As of that date she has been subject to Norwegian tax laws.

From 2007 to 2019 The Princess ran Astarte Education/Soulspring with Ms Elisabeth Nordeng. In 2018 she established the YouTube channel Hest360 with Mr Geir Kamsvåg.

Tessy Antony De Nassau's Zoom O'Clock - Tessy Antony de Nassau's Zoom O'Clock with Entrepreneur Emma Kay
play

12/22/21 • 29 min

Emma Kay can speak authoritatively on women’s safety, women’s right to equality of safety on British streets and her own experience of gender harassment.

She is also an entrepreneur who is passionate about developing the WalkSafe app’s unique safety features and keeping it free for women to download.

Emma can also speak on parenting, as knife crime soars and young men in particular are at risk, meaning more parents and their older children are downloading WalkSafe.

Emma Kay is the co-founder of WalkSafe and her impassioned social media posts following the murder of Sarah Everard meant the free app was downloaded over half a million times in just two weeks.

Mother of two, she is determined to fund the app so it will remain free to women and other vulnerable groups.

A former beautician, Emma came up with the idea of the app at dinner with her extended family after describing her own experience of gender harassment and what she felt would help. Fortunately, her brother-in-law is a technology expert, and he was able to devise the first generation WalkSafe app.

Emma describes the WalkSafe app as the ‘app that shouldn’t have to exist’ but as the daughter of a policeman, she has a pragmatic approach to women’s safety and the WalkSafe app is testimony to that philosophy.

It is the only app to give users a live map which shows where recent crimes have occurred, so women can choose a safer route home. It also has a tap feature if women feel threatened which alerts their chosen safety contact and a ‘dead woman’s switch’ which send alerts if the tapping suddenly stops, giving a precise location that the police can then use should the user be abducted.

Emma is passionate about creating greater awareness for WalkSafe, which is funded by the brands’ other ventures, so it can be available free to those that need it.

And, as the app also records knife crime, Emma says that more and more parents need to be aware of the app as young men are in danger from knife crime which rose 25% following the last lockdown easing.

She is available for broadcast and media interviews. Please contact: Emma or Jess at CMS [email protected] [email protected]
