When i came back to Australia last year i asked my friend who are the new up and coming original bands from Newcastle and Ben just said "Craig you have to see this band "Outer Control". So i was lucky enough to do a podcast in the bands rehearsal studio. The band is Gene- Guitar and vocals, Damo- Guitar and vocals, JT- Drums, Lewis- Bass and vocals. Punk rock band that has just released their first E.P and are in the process of recording their first studio album. The guys have hit the road touring in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney to promote the E.P and new album. We hear 2 tracks "Just Hit Repeat" and my favourite "Separate Ways"

In January, I caught up with my long time friend from Newcastle Australia, Tina Martyn. Tina has been recording albums at a young age and won the Golden Guitar award at the Tamworth Australia Country Music Awards. She is also an ARIA nominee for best new talent. She is the first "Pop Star" that I ever met. Having shared the stage with her old friends Keith Urban and guitar legend Tommy Emmanuel and meeting Shania Twain, Tina has some amazing stories to tell. We met in 2016 when i was training at the amazing Tiger Muay Thai Gym ( I recommend everyone go and do some training here as a part of your Phuket Holiday) Sam originally from Australia now residing in Phuket Thailand, is a professional Boxer and MMA fighter. With a Boxing record of 8-0-1 and MMA record of 8-8, this athlete is on his way to bigger and better things. Some of the biggest names in UFC and Martial Arts and all inspiring athlete's are coming to Tiger Muay Thai to learn the trade. Sam has also had pro boxing matches and coached internationally.
