
Mary Lofreso Discusses Embracing Telepractice In Medical & Educational Settings

Mary Lofreso is a pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist who specializes in Auditory-Verbal Therapy and is currently working toward her certification to become a Listening and Spoken Language Specialist. She began her career at DePaul School for Hearing and Speech where she worked with children who were Deaf and Hard of Hearing and their families to learn how to listen and speak. She currently works as an SLP for the Hearing Program at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, OH. Mary has been practicing via telehealth since she was a graduate student and has used it every day in her career since. She is always excited to find new and innovative ways to provide her patients and families with the best care and to encourage other professionals to step out of their comfort zone to do the same.
