Podcast Q&A
Why did you start this show?
I have been in the tech industry for nearly 20 years and over that time I've had the opportunity to meet, interview, and befriend many big names. Techsploder is an opportunity for me to get to know them on a deeper level in a way that sets the tech news to the side and allows the human being to shine through.
What do you hope listeners gain from listening to your show?
That we are all human, driven by similiar passions in tech. That drive leads us all down different paths but we are united in our love of tech.
What is your favourite other podcast that isn't yours?
I am music production nut, so the podcast that I listen to that has me thinking "man I wish that was MY podcast" is Tape Notes. It's so perfect and exactly what I wish I could do weekly: Talk to people who are making cool music about exactly how they recorded it.
How did you come up with the name for your podcast?
I was taking my dogs for a walk and the name just popped in my mind. I was convinced it was already taken but alas it was not. I then spent a year working to figure out what I wanted it to represent and I landed on this podcast and the concept for my Techsploder YouTube channel.
