SESCOM® Professional Media Interface For iPhone / iPad / iPod Mobile Media Devices

Portable media devices and smart phones have come a long way since it's the basic initial introduction in 2001 with Apple's iPod. Today the technology has advanced with devices like the iPad, the iPhone and iPod Touch which can capture HD Video and amazing digital photos. These devices are finding their way into the presentation and conference rooms in businesses worldwide on an ever increasing level. The major problem has been how to handle the Audio-Video information in a format that can easily integrate in real time to a projector or large video audio display or TV! Sescom has chosen to develop the ultimate hardware solution for this: The SES-IAV is the answer. The video and audio media files you play on your mobile device can now be sent to your component video display and recording devices.

Housed in a single 1RU rack mount enclosure, the iAV allows the user to connect the iPhone, iPad or iPod via included media cable and decodes the signal to broadcast Component Video with Balanced Audio. The iAV features dual outputs located on the front of the device for direct machine-to-machine connections, as well as a rear output group for rack interface with standard patch bays and control equipment.

BNC connectors are used for true component video and Balanced XLR connectors for audio. Control of the audio level is also provided for with front panel level controls.

The iAV will also provide charging for your compatible device via a built-in charging circuit. Powered by an included switch mode 110/220 VAC to 12 Volt DC adapter, the iAV can be easily adapted to mobile environments since the power jack is a standard 4pin XLR interface.

Now you can easily use the iPhone with your TriCaster as both a camera and a media player. The Sescom iAV is a smart and practical solution to your broadcast and professional media applications.
