Teachable Soul Podcast

Kat Daniels

Failure is such a dirty word and often causes angst and self loathing in all of us! This perception has led to a long history in humanity of self destruction, self neglect, and self sabotage. It doesn’t need to be that way!The Teachable Soul exists to help redefine failures as teachable moments. So that we can learn from our mistakes, grow from them, and do better. We believe all teachable souls deserve to live a confident and fulfilling life.

Dr. Travis G. Parry is the founder of the Make Time Institute. He’s earned several degrees in family and social science to better understand goal achievement and family relationships. He helps business owners and financial professionals be more productive at work so they can make more time for their own goals and family relationships.

In this episode I had the pleasure of speaking with Dr. Parry about fatherhood and working men. We discussed how he helps workaholic fathers to have better life balance all around, why he chose to do this, and why it’s important to all families.

I think women and men alike will get soo sooo much good information out of this episode and from Dr. Parry in general.

Cece and I didn’t know what we were going to talk about when we got on because it was kind of a surprise interview that it just happened to work out we were available to meet one another! Cece shared with us that she is the Community Catalyzer for an environmentally and socially conscious crypto-currency, tech start-up called SEEDS. Seeds is an acronym that stands for Sewing Economic Environmental Decentralized Societies. It sort of sounds like socialism to me, but join the conversation to hear Cece describe this utopia of a place to work and put forth all of her energies, heart, and efforts.

You can learn more about the company/movement and their app from their website here:

John Newport who is a pick-up artist, turned law enforcement officer, turned podcaster. When John couldn’t find a book on meeting someone (specifically a love interest), he did what anyone would do. He found something that worked, and worked fast. What he didn't realize was, in learning to pick up women, he was learning to manipulate them. It's something he didn't find out until after he had left a wave of destruction behind him. He now teaches others how to find someone with integrity and authenticity.

Prior to becoming a full-time real estate entrepreneur, Agostino served at C-level executive roles with private and publicly traded international companies, managed millions in capital and operating budgets, and lead global technology groups to business success. Furthermore, he built and launched various businesses from scratch, from mobile apps to tech companies and large asset management companies.

After experiencing both great successes and flat-out disasters in the business world, Agostino realized that while he was working in executive roles and building companies that went up and fell down, his real estate portfolio kept producing income - month over month - steadily for years! This catalyst made him quit the rat race. He abandoned plans for yet another tech startup and decided to double-down on his real estate business.

Today, Agostino uses his experience as an entrepreneur and C-level executive to help others gain the mindset, knowledge, and confidence to start or grow their real estate businesses. He motivates his students, followers, and clients to make success a priority in their lives and to move beyond the comfort zone known as the ‘middle class’ to achieve true financial freedom for themselves and their families.

Born and raised in a small town in Southern Illinois Kimberly attended Southern Illinois University (SIU) where I was a member of Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority and obtained a degree in Political Science. Kimberly proudly wears many titles: wife, mother, chauffeur, chef, CEO, and “daddy’s girl”. Throughout her life her father (or “Pop” as her children call him) taught her not only by his words but by his amazing example. He instilled in her that she could do anything she set her mind to and that the only limitations were those she placed upon herself.

Her father is a man of integrity, passion and compassion. His passion for coffee inspired Kimberly to found Pop’s Coffee 2017. His compassion for others inspired the philanthropic twist.

Pop’s Coffee is a company that lives by its values and is committed to enriching the lives of other like-minded people and causes. So, when you buy a bag of Pop’s Coffee you are supporting the protectors of America. Pop’s Coffee is proud to support our active military through our Support our Troops Program. For every bag of coffee sold Pop’s Coffee donates a bag of coffee to our troops.

If you would like to go buy a bag and help donate right now to our troops or our first responders, visit, https://popscoffee.net/

Nature lover and recovering people-pleaser, Helen left a 19-year career in Human Resources and an abusive marriage to follow her calling and become a Transformational Relationship Coach.

She is passionate about helping over-givers stop saying yes to everyone else so that they can say yes to themselves and have the best relationships of their lives.

Helen went from being a ‘good girl’ on the verge of a breakdown and unlearning a lot of what she thought she ‘knew’ about relationships, to having healthy relationships. This is something we can all learn to do, starting now.
