In this edition of Talk of Champions, Ben Garrett of the Ole Miss Spirit is joined by Ole Miss athletics director Keith Carter.
The spring sports have all but wrapped, including the first losing season for Rebel baseball since 1997. Fortunately, Ole Miss, as the last team named to the NCAA Tournament last summer, won 10 of 11 postseason games en route to the program’s first-ever national championship.
Because the results the last two seasons have been nothing short of abysmal otherwise.
Carter details his upcoming end-of-year meeting with head coach Mike Bianco, as well as the early returns from first-year Rebel basketball coach Chris Beard and contract talks with women’s basketball head coach Yolett McPhee McCuin.
