Supernaturalist Podcast Show #167 with Darren Stott and Sharon Hanek

Sharon Hanek is an accountant, community volunteer, wife, and mother who became active in the political arena when she became involved in education issues. Her “mother bear” instincts brought her into the political arena where she became known as “Research Mom”. For the past 15 years she has been down in Olympia every week during session testifying and being a citizen activist. In 2012 Sharon made headlines by being the first candidate to win a State-wide write-in campaign in her primary bid for the Office of State Treasurer. Although she did not win the general election, she went on to win her next race in 2015 for the position of Pierce County Charter Review Commission where she was elected Chair. Over the years, Sharon has been a guest on local and national radio programs. She continues to give presentations on education, activism, and the global agenda. Sharon believes that citizens getting involved CAN change our state and is committed to helping others learn to be a strong voice in their community and in politics. Sharon has also been honored to lead the prayer strategies for the education mountain in the Heartland Apostolic Network and Kingdom League International.
