Sunday Sips: Talks About the Culture with Kala and Desi

They all have been cancelled, or experienced ‘Cancel Culture’, to some degree. In episode 11 of Sunday Sips, Kala and Desi talk through their opinions on ‘Cancel Culture’ and whether or not they are pro/con the practice. While there is never a dull moment with Kala and Desi, this episode in particular is special because this is the first time Kala and Desi have ever discussed this topic! COVID in the Summertime

In episode 10, COVID makes a return as our topic for the week. While drinking Le Ferne Juliene, Kala and Desi talk through how COVID is impacting everything from: relationships, fashion, sports, health, and even perceptions of Facebook friends. Both ladies take time to revisit topics from their very first episode, The Culture on COVID, while addressing what it means that people are working so hard to get back to a sense of 'normal'. Back to School Edition

Been gone for a minute but back with so much to say! In episode 12, Kala sips on Jack Daniels with honey while Desi chooses Bird Dog Apple Whiskey to make it a dark liquor day as they talk about a subject close to Desi's heart: school and education. While Kala came to drop the knowledge in "In Case You Haven't Heard" and her subsequent research on the topic, Desi came with the heat on the flaws in education and the events discussed in the episode (seriously she even came for Oprah!). This episode is truly a special one, as listeners get small peaks and clues into the lives and history of each co-host, as it pertains to education and their views on access in 'the system'.
