Successful Parents - 80. Small Wins to Big Victories With Maria Aguirre
play

10/02/23 • 22 min

I’m a bestselling author, thought leader, common-sense practitioner, leadership trainer, coach, and content creator, and keynote speaker. I've been an Aviation Management Professional for the past 27 years, focused on operations. In September 2022, I published my first book, The Square-Peg Leader Delusion, The Art of Building and Leading Bulletproof Teams as I have a proven record of turning dysfunctional, low performing teams, into consistent and engaged high performers, without earth shattering changes.

As a thought leader, I founded Meaningful Leaders, Inc., with the mission and vision of inspiring, challenging and educating (ICE) other leaders (both entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs) and to help them unlock their talents, achieve high performance and elevate their careers or businesses, while serving and developing their team. All by using techniques that are commonly not taught in business school.

I received my undergraduate degree in Business Administration with majors in International Business and Business Management from Florida International university (FIU) and my MBA in Aviation with a concentration in Finance from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical university (ERAU).

I’m also a certified Lean Six-Sigma Black Belt (L6σBB) and hold a Project Management Professional PMP® License.

At the moment I’m creating a B2B online course under the Meaningful Leaders Academy, sort of a leadership bootcamp, to help struggling managers transform into high performance leaders without pursuing a business degree. My goal is to educate corporations into finding proven ways to engage their teams and develop and retain talent, especially in the era of the silent quitting. My offering will consist of:
Tier 1 online access licenses
Tier 2 Tier 1 + 10 Group Coaching Sessions
Tier 3 Tier 2 + 12 one-on-one coaching sessions

I’m also writing a children's book, along with my granddaughter Bella with a dual purpose:
1.- Teach kids about leadership concepts from early on so they can develop the skills early on
2.- Bring back the critical bedtime story time so we can hang out with our kids and teach them something worth learning about

As a busy parent and now grandparent, making time for these invaluable moments is so critical.
