We talk to Bob Brechin - Chief Designer at the legendary Palitoy Company who were responsible for Action Man, Star Wars and Action Force in the UK. After joining in the 1960's right through to the 1980's, Bob would become a creative force shaping the ideas and success of some of the most successful toy lines in history. Bringing realistic hair and a gripping hand to Action Man, making sure the Star Wars Death Star actually looked like what you saw on screen to then introducing us to perhaps the most terrifying toy vehicle of the 80s with the Action Force Roboskull, Bob Brechin and Palitoy's magic continues to live on in the heart's of many to this day.
