Anthony Brandenburg (born February 24, 1963[1]) is an American musician best known as the lead singer for the punk rock band the Adolescents. He has used the pseudonyms Tony Cadena, Tony Montana, and Tony Adolescent, and since 1992 has most consistently credited himself as Tony Reflex. Active in music since 1980, he has fronted several bands in addition to the Adolescents—including the Abandoned, the Flower Leperds, ADZ, and Sister Goddamn—and has performed on over 20 studio albums. At age 16, Brandenburg founded the Adolescents in Fullerton, California with fellow punk musicians Steve Soto and Frank Agnew. Changing his stage name to Tony Montana, he started a new group, the Abandoned, which released one studio album. The Adolescents reunited, but Brandenburg left the band after 1987's Brats in Battalions, and they recorded one album without him before breaking up again. Brandenburg joined the Flower Leperds, replacing original singer Marko Olson. His next group, Sister Goddamn, issued albums in 1992 and 1995.
Outside of bands, Brandenburg has pursued a career in teaching and has been a vocal advocate for the rights of people with autism and Asperger's Syndrome, as well as for music and fine arts in education. Interview with Doyle of Gorgeous Frankenstein and the Misfits
Stig Interviews Doyle of Gorgeous Frankenstein and the Misfits
Originally aired on www.stenchradio.com 11-03-2011
From Wikipedia:
Doyle is an American horror punk band formed from Gorgeous Frankenstein in 2012 by ex-Misfitslead guitarist Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein and Cancerslug frontman Alex Story who also sang in Gorgeous Frankenstein. Their debut album Abominator was released in 2013 through Monsterman Records, Doyle's own label.[1]
After having formed his own band Gorgeous Frankenstein in 2007[2] and releasing an eponymous album on Glenn Danzig's record label Evilive, Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein had to deal with many lineup changes that finally led him to start over with a new project.
In agreement with Alex Story (the last vocalist of Gorgeous Frankenstein),[3] Doyle's new project was eponymously named "Doyle". Along with these two founding members, the group's first lineup included drummer Dr. Chud (ex-Misfits, Michale Graves era) and bassist 'Left Hand' Graham, (ex-Graves and Gorgeous Frankenstein)[4]
In 2014, Dr. Chud left the band shortly before Doyle's first "Annihilate America Tour" and was replaced by Anthony "Tiny" Biuso (former drummer of T.S.O.L., The Dickies and Hed (pe)) in August.[5]
Shortly after, "Tiny" stated that he would no longer be playing with the band, and would not continue on the remainder of the tour. He was replaced by drummer Brandon Pertzborn (Black Flag 2014–2016) just before hitting the road for the "Abominator Tour 2015" in March.[6]
