Another conversation between kindred spirits, Tiana Bryant is a contagious light of gentleness, understanding, and genuine kindness. We have been following each other on socials for a while and we always felt called to each other's energy and spirit, as if we'd already known each other as good friends. This is our very first full conversation and I am so grateful for it and for Tiana's vulnerability to share her experience, her awareness, and her perspective.
You may follow Tiana and her journey @tianabrynt on Instagram :)
In this episode, we discuss topics including but not limited to: what is Premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD) and Tiana's experience with it, coping with depression and anxiety, overcoming intrusive thoughts and what they look like, ritualizing self-care, the importance of exploring your body and understanding your emotions, taking medicinal microdoses of psilocybin (shrooms), and more.
I, myself, learned so much from this conversation and as I continue to listen to it over and over again, I am led to self-inquiry in gentle and expansive ways. I hope you are led to (self)discovery, as well.
If you feel you are experiencing PMDD, I encourage you to dive into more research and consult with your doctor if you are able! If you are experiencing depression and/or anxiety, gentle reminder that you are not your thoughts and you are very much so loved and purposeful. Please try to seek out a safe space with a loved one and express yourself.
All that is mentioned in this episode is rooted in personal experience. Consult a professional, as needed.

Collage OG and designer, Bernie, also known as Bernz, is our guest for episode 14. Overcoming a season of sadness and loss comes a season of discovery and self-love. As we are in the midst of our one year quarantine anniversary, where all of our lives changed, Bernie and I touch on what these changes looked like for him and what lessons came from them.
Having been in the game for years, Bernie just now feels like his work is beginning to unfold in ways that cultivate a bigger picture and bring forth abundance. With this, we discuss navigating freelancing in the beginning, expanding the work through fun, the importance of being yourself, good communication, and more goodness.
You can explore Bernie's work here.

"What is meant to be comes with ease. Remind yourself that."
I have been acknowledging the peace I currently feel and reflecting on what has contributed to this peace. Almost exactly a year ago, I was going through a lot of sudden shifts and unexpected changes that honestly led to am emotional (and spiritual) breakdown.
Looking back at this time, I realize that the moment I decided to (finally) surrender to the flow of these shifts and changes was the moment I chose peace, too. It was in my resistance where my fear cultivated.
In this episode, I am expressing gratitude for choosing to surrender, practicing surrender, and holding space to share a bit on my thoughts and reflections on surrender.
If you find yourself in a season of resistance, in a moment of fearing the unknown, I am encouraging you to surrender to the flow of life and of change! Choose faith over fear. Choose to believe that all is working in your favor and for your highest good. Know in your heart that what is meant for you does not cause dysfunction in any light of the word.

🎙️"When we identify with these societal and cultural and overall human identities, we are not only our limiting our perception but limiting the abundance and expansiveness of who and what we truly are." - Jocelyn
Initially... this episode was going to be dedicated to my expression of gratitude for experiencing Jocelyn - and yes, I mean to say that in third person. But for many to truly understand what I mean by this, what I mean by me being grateful to experience Jocelyn's personality, Jocelyn's soul development, Jocelyn's journey... I had to have this conversation with you about identities.
A huge aspect of my most recent, significant spiritual awakening was "identity work." I invested time and energy into really observing and contemplating societal and cultural and overall human identities and how they influence us in how we show up in the world. Long story short, our identities are our limitations.
There's more I have to expand into in regards to this and who we truly are but I am excited to share with you my current outlook, understandings, and reflections in this episode.
The main topics I touch on in this episode include:

  • what a spiritual awakening is
  • how spiritual awakenings impact us
  • societal and cultural programmings
  • who we truly are and who we truly are not
  • expanding our perceptions
  • identities and the standards/expectations they come with
  • self-liberation
  • becoming the observer of our thoughts
  • creating the idea of separation
  • understanding oneness
  • reinventing ourselves
  • healing relationships

🎙️"You choosing to suppress an emotion is actually you choosing to hold onto it." - Jocelyn
It truly is so wild how we as a collective have created the response to suppress our emotions - for generations - thinking that suppressing our emotions make them go away. This could not be more wrong. As quoted above, us choosing to suppress our emotions is us choosing to keep them. When we suppress them, they don't disappear - they become blocked in our system and cause dysfunction in our lives.
We are emotional bodies! When we have an unhealthy relationship with our emotions and the way in which we respond to them, we manifest an unhealthy body. Emotions are energy in motion. We must allow them to flow. This episode was definitely channeled by the divine and just felt like what I was/am meant to speak on at this time. I hope those of you who tune in feel seen and inspired by what I share. May this lead you towards a healthier relationship with your emotions.
The main topics I touch on in this episode include:

  • the importance of allowing yourself to feel
  • why suppressing our emotions causes dysfunction
  • mind, body, spirit are all interconnected
  • being in a toxic relationship that manifested emotional suppression and sickness
  • why our emotions are a gift

🎙️"...falling in love with the concept of trusting the unknown is really making life exciting right now." - Laura Grant
There are three healing and awakening truths that really came into the forefront of my journey this past year and are highlighted in this episode: one, healing our relationships with our parents is important, two, looking at your relationships through the lens of mirror reflections is enlightening, and three, acknowledging we all have both masculine and feminine energies within us is necessary for our ascension.
Aligning with Laura Grant's work during my twin flame journey and my spiritual awakening this past year was an alignment I needed to affirm I was on the right path, specifically by deciding to turn inward. In this conversation, we are going in-depth on what both wounded and healthy masculine and feminine energies look like, as well as what it looks like to balance these energies and how it impacts the world around us. This is a MUST LISTEN episode for anyone curious about these energies and/or about the twin flame union.
Laura Grant is a Masculine and Feminine Energy Teacher and Intuitive Coach providing relationship and purpose guidance. You may learn more about Laura here.
Some of the main topics we touch on in this episode include:

  • balancing the masculine and feminine energy within us
  • the twin flame journey, union, and significance
  • healing codependency and awakening interdependent relationships
  • acknowledging the link between woundedness and child development
  • seeing the blueprint of our karmic cycles and ancestral loops within us
  • seeing our personal journey reflect in the collective journey

🎙️"I realized that when we are in tune with our true selves, we are in tune with Spirit. For me, now, my true Self and Spirit are one in the same." - Jocelyn
Lately I have been reflecting a lot on just how grateful I am to have simply rekindled my relationship with Spirit. I will never forget the moment I thought to myself how disconnected I felt from Spirit, from divine guidance and protection. In this moment, I was in a toxic relationship that last four years. When I finally broke off this relationship and began my healing journey, I realized why I felt so disconnected, so out of tune.
When you lose yourself the way I lost myself, you never ever want to lose yourself again and when you reawaken, you will make sure it never happens again. That moment where I acknowledged how distant I felt from the light within changed my life forever, changed my relationship with my Self and with Spirit forever.
This is a short, yet honest and impactful conversation where I expand on this moment with you and on my sincerest gratitude for having reconnected with all that is divine.
Topics we touch on in this conversation include:

  • being in tune with Spirit
  • reconnecting with your true Self
  • how we become out of alignment with the divine
  • why our relationships matter
  • how we manifest toxic relationships
  • listening to your intuition
  • gifting yourself grace in your healing journey
  • generational patterns and cycles
  • cultural and societal programming/influences
