The year’s biggest Star Wars event is coming to the Peach State. In a year without a Star Wars Celebration convention, the Georgia Alliance of Star Wars Collectors (GASWC) is busy creating a vintage and modern collector’s dream event. During the May 4th weekend, more than 150 passionate Star Wars collectors will travel to Kennesaw, Georgia for three days of panels, activities, meals, collection tours and the unforgettable moments only an event like this could deliver. And the weekend’s room sales event may be the best one in years, with collectors bringing some of the rarest and previously unseen prototypes and production items. Join host David Quinn as he sits down with Georgia Alliance members Narayan S. Naik, Jason Wasulko and Glen Williams, for a behind-the-scenes look at the Rogue Fun weekend. In this two-part series, the Georgia team will explain the origins of the event, as well as what to expect for the weekend’s itinerary, and why it takes a community (and a few former Kenner and Nelvana employees) to build something as special as Rogue Fun.
