I welcome you all on Kailas yatra again. Today we start our trek from Tawaghat near Dharchula to Sirkha. Sirkha is a mesmerizing campsite, and from here, we move to Gala, Budhi and Gunji, on a four days trek. The route is beautiful, though a bit difficult at times with lots of ups and downs.
Gunji is a cold place with brisk winds welcome you, and is a two days stop.
So be with me on this trek, to get a real feel, you have to listen though.

मैं फिर से कैलास यात्रा पर आप सभी का स्वागत करता हूं। आज हम अपना ट्रेक धारचूला के पास तवाघाट से सिरखा तक शुरू करते हैं। सिरखा एक मंत्रमुग्ध कर देने वाला शिविर स्थल है, और यहाँ से हम गाला, बुद्धी और गुंजी की ओर बढ़ते हैं, जो चार दिनों का ट्रेक है। मार्ग सुंदर है, हालांकि कई बार उतार-चढ़ाव के साथ थोड़ा कठिन है।
गुंजी एक ठंडी जगह है जहां तेज हवाएं आपका स्वागत करती हैं, और दो दिन का पड़ाव है।

Kailas Mansarovar Yatra # 2
Today is Aug.15 and we leave for Kailas, So a big Volvo bus is arranged, and with the chants of Har-Har Mahadev, Bus starts. Stopping at various points we reach Kathgodam, and then via two buses, the climb to hill starts. We reach Almora via Kainchi Dham, and stay there. Next day we reach Dharchula by the banks of river Kali.
So stay tuned to hear all of it in detail.

आज 15 अगस्त है और हम कैलास के लिए निकलते हैं, तो एक बड़ी वॉल्वो बस की व्यवस्था की जाती है, और हर-हर महादेव के मंत्रोच्चार के साथ, बस शुरू होती है। विभिन्न बिंदुओं पर रुककर हम काठगोदाम पहुँचते हैं, और फिर दो बसों के माध्यम से पहाड़ों की चढ़ाई शुरू होती है। हम कैंची धाम से होते हुए अल्मोड़ा पहुंचते हैं, और वहीं रुकते हैं। अगले दिन हम काली नदी के किनारे स्थित धारचूला पहुँचते हैं।
तो इस सब को विस्तार से सुनने के लिए बने रहें।

Kailas Mansarovar Yatra # 4
We report for medicals at ITBP Gunji, all yatris are cleared, but most are advised to hire pony and porters. The very next day we start for Navidhang via Kalapani, the origin of river Kali. Here are temples of Mata Kali, lord Hanuman and are maintained by ITBP. The camp at Navidhang is adjacent to Om Parvat. You can also trek to Adi Kailas from Gunji.
We start at night and reach Lipulekh pass in the morning.
In next episode I will tell the journey to Kailas.

हम आईटीबीपी गुंजी में चिकित्सा के लिए रिपोर्ट करते हैं, सभी यात्रियों को मंजूरी दे दी जाती है, लेकिन अधिकांश को टट्टू और कुलियों को किराए पर लेने की सलाह दी जाती है। अगले ही दिन हम काली नदी के उद्गम स्थल कालापानी से होते हुए नवीढांग के लिए प्रस्थान करते हैं। यहां माता काली, भगवान हनुमान जी के मंदिर हैं और आईटीबीपी द्वारा व्यवस्थित हैं। नविढांग शिविर ॐ पर्वत के निकट है। आप गुंजी से आदि कैलास तक ट्रेक भी कर सकते हैं।
हम रात में शुरू करते हैं और सुबह लिपुलेख दर्रे पर पहुँचते हैं।
