A new year - a new episode - and a couple of new changes to the format (and sound, we'd like to think)!
We'll be mixing up the formula of our reviews with a bi-weekly switch on covering films that Sophie hasn't seen, and ones that neither of us have seen. Plus we are segmenting the episodes with a pre-ramble of our/Sophie's expectations of the film, before following up with the end result of our usual reviewing style after watching the movie.
For our first episode of 2022, we took a trip to the cinema in what feels like forever to bring you a brand spanking new movie release to cover, that being Paul Thomas Anderson's Licorice Pizza.
Hearing positive buzz about the movie at the backend of 2021, Paul was very much excited to see what this slice of cinema had in store - did it meet his expectations? And was Sophie happy with the experience of sitting in an auditorium to watch this? Listen to find out!

Well, snow my balls! It's our first Christmas themed episode of 2021, and for this one we're going to be talking about the Michael Keaton snowman movie that is 1998's Jack Frost!
Shockingly, Sophie has never seen this festive film before, and in this review we delve into possible reasons behind that... (TBH, I don't think she'd care much to see the 1997 'horror' incarnation either)

It's anime time once again, and this one is definitely dear to Paul's heart - even if it is a little bit of an obscure choice...

Here it is, folks! Our 100th episode, and our longest recording yet! In celebration of Christmas and making it this far, we are discussing two festive movies, which are Anna and the Apocalypse and Christmas with the Kranks (which one's the real horror story??)
