When we’re young, we don’t always appreciate our traditions of family gatherings. But as we get older, we recognize the way that healthy traditions form us and give us a sense of belonging in the world. The problem is that with so much time spent apart recently, our sense of gathering has changed. With the holidays approaching, how are you feeling about gathering? Are you longing for connection, or are you unsure how to re-engage? Are you excited to be together, or are you feeling disconnected due to so much tension among us? Things may never go back to the way they used to be, but maybe it’s time we rethink our priorities in how we choose to gather together.

Priya Parker is a best-selling author and community facilitator, and she strives to help people find deeper meaning and purpose in community. In today’s clip, she explains why we need to rethink the way we gather, as well as some practical ways to do just that.

His multifaceted artwork covers building facades, galleries, and private collections throughout the US. His engaging and spirited work is highly sought after and flows from the intersections of his passions for creative expression and positive social impact.

Tamahn’s art has become more prominent in public spaces. He believes public art is essential because no one needs permission to access and engage with it. His work is featured on HGTV and DIY networks and in several significant publications.
