Mass Shootings in America: 7 Years Since Parkland High | Max Schachter & Marc Beckman

Some Future Day

On Valentine’s Day 2018, Max Schachter’s life changed forever when his son, Alex, was murdered in the Parkland school shooting—the deadliest high school shooting in U.S. history. Since that day, Max has dedicated his life to preventing future tragedies, working with legislators, law enforcement, and school officials to improve school safety nationwide.

The killer used an AR-15 semi-automatic, which he assembled in the school stairwell adjacent to the first floor classrooms. He fired the AR-15, which had an engraved swastika, 139 times. It is worth noting, several law enforcement failures occurred surrounding this horrific event.

Max Schachter, the father of one of the victims, Alex Schachter, joins me on this episode of Some Future Day. Since the mass shooting, Mr. Schachter has elevated to become the preeminent mind surrounding school safety. But he is way more than simply a national school safety advocate. Max Schachter is a brave, fearless, and tireless soul who will never stop fighting for his son Alex and all the other victims and families of school shootings.

In this episode, you'll learn about:

  • The heartbreaking story of Alex—his passions, his dreams, and the life that was stolen.
  • How the system failed to stop a known threat and the culture of leniency that allowed it to happen.
  • The hard truths about school safety, leadership failures, and what must change.
  • What Florida has done right and how other states can follow.
  • Practical steps parents can take today to protect their children.

This is a conversation about grief, action, and a father’s relentless mission to make sure no other family endures the pain he has suffered.

Will 2025 Be the Golden Age of Crypto? | Carlo D'Angelo & Marc Beckman

Here's why crypto is about to grow exponentially: President Trump's crypto executive order marks a sea change in the United States’ digital asset policy. And boy, this new administration has already commenced its major cryptocurrency push. President Trump's executive order calls for a group of experts to start working on crypto regulations, orders banking services for crypto companies to be protected, and bans the creation of a U.S. central bank digital currency.

The highly respected pillar of the tech world, Mr. David Sacks, has been appointed crypto czar, and it is widely expected that the United States government will begin stockpiling Bitcoin. Indeed, we are living in very interesting times!

In this episode, Marc Beckman sits down with crypto legal expert Carlo D’Angelo to break down one of the most explosive shifts in the digital asset landscape—Trump’s executive order on crypto, its impact on regulation, and what it means for blockchain innovation in the U.S.

They dive deep into:

  • The Trump Meme Coin—Is it just hype, or does it signal a new era of political crypto adoption?
  • The SEC’s shake-up—Will regulatory uncertainty finally be replaced by real clarity?
  • The Bitcoin Arms Race—Why governments and institutions are racing to stockpile Bitcoin before it’s too late.
  • AI’s Role in Crypto—Will artificial intelligence supercharge blockchain adoption, or reshape the financial system entirely?
  • The Rise of Digital Nation-States—What happens when global leaders start launching their own tokens?

This episode is packed with bold predictions, insider insights, and hard-hitting analysis on the intersection of crypto, AI, and politics. If you want to understand where money, power, and technology are headed next, this is an episode you can’t afford to miss.

Did DeepSeek's Founder Purposely Tank NVIDIA's Stock to Earn Billions? Milos Bujisic & Marc Beckman

Can people make millions with AI?

Dr. Milos Bujisic is a Clinical Associate Professor of Marketing and Statistics at NYU School of Professional Studies (SPS), where he also serves as Co-Director for Faculty Research. Before joining NYU, he was a tenured Associate Professor of Consumer Sciences at The Ohio State University.

Dr. Bujisic is the founder of MADintel and Brand Social Value (BSV), an AI start-up that provides marketers and PR professionals with real-time data to craft impactful brand and social media strategies. BSV utilizes a proprietary 8-minute survey to build brand personas and employs a predictive algorithm to match brands with customers. It also measures how branded social media content influences the relationship between brands and their audiences.

On this episode of Some Future Day, Dr. Bujisic joins me to evaluate the most integral and practical mechanisms between AI brands and consumers from ChatGPT's impending disruption of Google's dominance in search to customizing and streamlining the shopping experience with brands like Lululemon and... toilet paper. (We cover a lot of ground here, folks!).

Pay close attention to Milos’s unnerving hypothesis about DeepSeek's nefarious strategy to earn billions by shorting NVIDIA. It's one of a kind, and actually possible.

Tune in now for a conversation that challenges the hype and reveals where the real money in AI might be hiding.
