due to her body being discovered in a concrete drum.
The abuse was mainly perpetrated by four teenage boys, Hiroshi Miyano, Jō Ogura, Shinji Minato, and Yasushi Watanabe.
Who only served short sentences because they were 18 years old or younger at the time of the horrific crime. Up to 100 people knew of her whereabouts and the torture that she suffered, Including one of the youths parents.
This is a horrific tale that shows what a group of humans can do together, When they have no morality or conscience.

Was walking home from Blacktown train station. when 5 men grabbed her and dragged her into a car, that they had stolen previously.
a young brother and sister witnessed the crime but were unable to help.
Anita's brutally beaten and horrifically sexually assaulted body was found by a farmer only 2 days later, he of course called the police and the search began.
The prime suspect was her recently estranged husband, but he was desperately in love with her and he would never hurt her. eventually the 5 men were charged with her murder, and there was some great police work and an incredible lady known as Miss X who helped to solve the case. all 5 of the perpetrators are found guilty of the crimes and sentenced to life in prison and their files were stamped never to be released.

  • This week Kim is telling the awful tale of Sylvia Likens.
  • trigger warning this is horrible beyond all belief, and is fairly graphic.
  • Sylvia Likens was a 16 year old young lady who suffered brutal beatings and much more at the hands of Gertrude Baniszewski, many of Baniszewski's children, and several of their neighborhood friends
  • Sylvia was increasingly neglected, belittled, sexually humiliated, beaten, starved, lacerated, and dehydrated by her tormentors.
  • Her autopsy showed 150 wounds across her body, including several burns, scald marks and eroded skin.
  • Through intimidation, her younger sister, Jenny, was occasionally forced to participate in her mistreatment.
  • The official cause of her death was determined to be a homicide caused by a combination of subdural hematoma and shock, complicated by severe malnutrition.
  • Her tragic story is particularly hard to listen to, it is truly shocking.
