Thanks to BetterHelp for sponsoring this week's episode!Impact Wrestling hits 1000 episodes this week and that has Solomonster feeling nostalgic about the good and the bad we've gotten from Impact over the past 20-plus years. He also talks about the death of Adnan Al-Kaissie, or General Adnan from his time in WWE with Sgt. Slaughter, and shares some interesting tales from his life as a childhood friend of Saddam Hussein and the time Saddam threatened to shoot Andre in the head during a match in Iraq... a historic week coming up with the close of the Endeavor deal for WWE, why their employees are worried and what it means for the fans who watch the product... LA Knight signs a new long-term deal with WWE, how long it's believed to be for and what's being said about their plans for him... GUNTHER makes history as the longest-reigning Intercontinental champion of all time and two ideas on how and when to have Chad Gable beat him for that title... WRESTLEMANIA 40 may still be seven months away, but some of the key matches for the show seem clear at this point, and he runs down what those and other matches may be and where other people fit into those plans... then on the AEW front, he's got MORE FALLOUT from the CM Punk termination including reaction from some of the top stars in WWE, the rumored idea Punk had for a return earlier this year and why it was never going to happen, Ace Steel released from his AEW contract and the legal letter sent by Punk to The Elite over a BTE skit... Bryan Danielson claims this will be his last year in wrestling and challenges Zack Sabre Jr. to a match at WrestleDream... the epidemic of OPEN CHALLENGES in AEW... the beef between Santana and Ortiz spills over onto social media, how much of it is setting up an angle between the two?... and thoughts on the not-so-new Kurt Angle documentary on Peacock, including his first broken neck heading into the Olympics, his drug addiction, his "Perc Angle" days in TNA and why Angle doesn't consider himself GOAT material for his run in WWE.

WWE Smackdown 9/8/23 Review - WHAT ARE WE EVEN DOING HERE WITH THIS BLOODLINE STORY?
Solomonster reviews WWE Smackdown with Jimmy Uso trying to work his way back into the good graces of Roman Reigns, even after all that has already happened. Even if you believe it makes sense because he wants to be the next Tribal Chief, this story is dragging and not in a good way. On the other hand, LA Knight continues to light up these crowds and is getting even more screen time on the show, which is a good thing. And we have a little tease of possible faction warfare involving The Bloodline, The Judgment Day and Bobby Lashley's new crew.

BETTERHELP - Get 10 PERCENT OFF your first month and give online therapy a try at http://www.betterhelp.com/solomonster to start being your best self. Thanks to BetterHelp for sponsoring this week's episode!Solomonster reviews WWE Monday Night Raw for September 11th, the final Raw under the ownership of Vince McMahon, and I can't think of a more fitting closing shot than the return of NIA JAX. Kairi Sane might want to reconsider her pending return after this. Drew McIntyre and Xavier Woods had an excellent match, and Chad Gable made it clear that he wants one more shot at Gunther's Intercontinental title, but overall, it was a lackluster show up against the opening night of Monday Night Football. Plus, the latest on the Matt Riddle situation and LA Knight's contract status.
