So, You Like Horror? #27- Wishmaster
Hello and good day. This week on the podcast I sit with Joe KW and Maryland Phil to discuss the 1997 Wes Craven produced film, Wishmaster. The story is about a djinn, a wish-granting, evil genie who is released from a jewel and seeks to capture the soul of the woman who discovered him, thereby opening a portal and freeing his fellow djinn to inhabit and enslave the Earth. We discussed the many cameo appearances of several horror icons, the gruesome death scenes, the various sequels, and our usual random distractions of jumping topics.

So, You Like Horror? #29- The 1940s
Welcome back, friends and family. This week on the podcast we continue our journey of horror films through the decades as we talk about the 1940s. My wife, Sarah Beth, and I sat together and discussed how horror was affected by World War II and the formulaic style of films in the early part of the decade. We talked about a few films that we watched related to the era and we also investigate what inspired some of the films based on the culture surrounding them. Thank you everyone for your support.
