In this episode of TSB, Caesar, Guru, Geeno, and Dunks are in-studio at the Woodward Sports Network.

We begin the show with a little transparency. Maybe a bit too much transparency.

Guru is still the worst host on the show.

Our intern Dwight finds beauty in almost any sneaker. We try to find a shoe he considers ugly.

We invite friend of the show John Mohyi, attorney at law, to discuss some legal news stories in sneakers, such as Under Armour’s $9 million settlement, Y.U.M.S. major court victory against an industry giant, and the response to Nike’s patent of the Air Jordan silhouette.

Nike gets their own name wrong on their own shoe.

And although there was some initial audio difficulties, we managed to interview RockDeep CEO Rocky Parrish. We discuss everything from his military upbringing, to his new collaboration with the Wu-Tang Clan, and what it’s like being a Black entrepreneur in the sneaker industry.

Guru refuses to take accountability for getting us a few negative reviews on iTunes.

Looking back, we’ve made a number of historic firsts on our show. Such as breaking the color and gender barriers in the genre of sneaker podcasts.

Nike seems to do the bare minimum when it comes to sneakers that are meant to pay homage to cultural celebrations like Black History Month and Puerto Rican Day.

Reebok re-retroed the Omni Pump II without the most important piece. THE PUMP.

We listen to our voicemail hotline where a listener asks “What Detroit story would we tell if given the opportunity to do a sneaker collaboration?”

It’s the battle of the bootlegs. Kool Kiy vs. Omi In A Hellcat. No one really wins but the culture and community definitely loses in this fight. But how did we get to a point where knockoff sneakers have become fashionable?

Vanessa Bryant calls out Nike over the release of the “Mambacita” Kobe 6 Protro. According to her, the shoe was canceled barring both sides coming to an agreement. But considering Nike’s track record, especially this year, do they deserve the benefit of the doubt in this situation?

And finally, Under Armour pays the piper by settling the investigation into its accounting practices by the S.E.C. for $9 million.

Stores like UNDFTD and Bricks & Wood have figured out how to weed out bots. If only the bigger brands could follow suit.

We wonder what the racial make up is of people who buy certain sneaker releases.

Do people prefer virtual events, like Complexland, or live events, like Sneaker Con?

Guru and Geeno compete in another round of “The Price Is Hype”.

Are Reebok collaborations CRIMINALLY underrated? Caesar doesn’t seem to think so.
