A heart-warming serial killer romance!
Yep, that's exactly what this book is and it made us incredibly giddy. Adam is one of seven adopted sons of Dr. Mulvaney and they all share a common characteristic. They are psychopaths trained to kill slimeballs who escape the justice system. Adam is held at gunpoint by the son of his past victim and is immediately captivated by him!
There is something about the Mulvaney brothers and how they fall in love - hard and fast - that just absolutely works. You would think that a serial killer romance would be very dark, but Onley James injects the right amount of humor and ooey gooey sweetness that balances it all out.

Obviously Juliette and I have a type! But this time we have ALIEN barbarian men similar to our beloved Dothraki. The book kicks off with a captor/captive situation (another favorite of ours). Luna offers herself in place of her brother when he breaks the rules of Drakkar. The mysterious horde king makes his interest clear and whisks her off into the sunset. What I love about these barbarians is that they are alpha, but incredibly caring and sweet with their sweetheart.
There's something about this world that just sucks you in. Zoey Draven's Horde Kings of Drakkar is a highly bingeable series that everyone should read!
