Law Professor B.J. Priester (FanGirl Blog) joins us to share the ins and outs of public domain and trademarks, especially as it applies to beloved characters like Mickey and Minnie Mouse. It has been 95 years since the introduction of Disney’s iconic mice and Tigger, which means anyone can use these characters without Disney’s consent. However, it’s a bit more complicated, and so much more interesting, than that, so BJ helps to break it all down, as only a lawyer can!

This is a discussion with Eddie Munster himself - Butch Patrick! Richard grew up watching Butch Patrick in just about everything from Shazam (1974), Lidsville (1971-72), The Phantom Tollbooth (1970), The Munsters (1964-66), and The Monkees 1967 Christmas episode. In that episode Butch plays Melvin Vandersnoot, a child of 10 going on 65 with no Christmas spirit. Of course, The Monkees change that by the end, and it’s a heartwarming tale that Richard and Sarah watch every year on Christmas day. Butch Patrick shares behind-the-scenes stories of working as a child actor in all of these nostalgic series and films. At D23’s Destination D, Disney Parks, Experiences and Consumer Products Chairman Bob Chapek revealed the names of the two attractions for Galaxy’s Edge when it opens at Disneyland next summer and at the Walt Disney World Resort in fall 2019. “Millenium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run” and “Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance”. If there’s anything Lucasfilm can’t resist, it’s colons!!

We will be Skywalking through the Festival of Holidays at DCA on 12/4/18! It’s a BIRTHDAY episode! Not only is it Sarah’s birthday on March 10th, but our special guest Scott Allen's birthday is March 12th, the air date of this show.

“Fly, yes. Land, no!” Right after wrapping our interview with Margaret Kerry, we learned that Harrison Ford violently crashed landed his vintage plane and was in critical condition. Oh no! We also learned that Harrison Ford just may be Wolverine in disguise, considering the MANY accidents and broken bones he’s weathered. “It’s not the years, it’s the mileage."
