Skywalking Through Neverland: A Star Wars / Disney / Marvel Fan Podcast

Imagine trekking to Tatooine - visiting those same sand dunes used for Jabba’s Sail Barge and Sarlacc Battle in Return Of The Jedi. Then hunkering down under the stars that evening to watch Return Of The Jedi surrounded by those same dunes. Would you say you’re in Star Wars heaven? Well, we thought so!

Last week we headed to the Imperial Sand Dunes in Buttercup Valley, CA for their now-annual “Discover the Desert Star Wars Event.” We recap the day with Jawa James (Starwars.com / ClubJade) and Margaret Mays. There’s also a great interview with the three organizers of the event: Kris Haugh (501st, Rebel Legion, Mando Mercs), Carla Teeters (Imperial Valley Film Commission / United Desert Gateway), Michelle Puckett (Bureau of Land Management). They tell us about what it takes to put this on and give us a sneak peek to what they have planned next year.
