When we want to improve something in our health, we usually take some kind of action. We do something to get that result. Usually, we make one or more of these mistakes in the process, which leaves us frustrated, overwhelmed, and ready to quit. Until the next time, when we make the same mistakes again and wonder why we never get that result (weight loss, less stress, more physical activity, better sleep, etc.). I have made all 7 mistakes over and over and over. Now, as a habit trained coach, I know how to avoid these mistakes. I still do them from time to time, but I recognize it now and shift myself back into the actions and thoughts that lead to the results I want.
