A Message from a Silly Old Bear
Hallo there, friends.
This is Mr. Edward Bear, or Winnie-the-Pooh, or Pooh Bear, or sometimes only Pooh, here with a Very Important Message for you.
The world is a great, big, wide place, full of beautiful things like honey and balloons and all your friends and relations. As you go along your way in this great, big, wide place, you will have all sorts of marvelous expeditions and see many extraordinary things.
But sometimes, because it is such a great, big, wide place, it also has things in it that are rather frightening, and terribly sad. Sometimes that can make it a bit difficult to think about all of the good and lovely things.
I would like you to remember that if you should ever need a place to go where you are safe and sound, you may always call on me - or Christopher Robin, or Piglet, or Owl, or Eeyore, or Rabbit, or Kanga, or even baby Roo. We’re always here in the Hundred Acre Wood, ready with tea and cake for you anytime you should like to visit.
We all love you very much, you know, and always will.
Your friend always, Your Silly Old Bear
