5 Things I did to make $100,000 on Instagram (and how you can too)
She Believed She Could™ Podcast
05/04/22 • 16 min
Two years ago, Allison barely had an Instagram account and she wasn’t even sure how to use it. When the pandemic began and her businesses quickly started to take a hit, she had to figure out new ways to build awareness and find new opportunities to make money to offset the losses. Fast forward to today and it’s become a staple and game-changer in her business all thanks to her willingness to try something new.
Memorable moments:
- "You don't have to have millions of followers to make millions of dollars. A smaller, engaged community is far better and way more valuable."
- "I love that businesses and brands are starting to realize that the personal brands of their people are so incredibly valuable, and one of the best ways to build their business is by teaching their people how to use social media."
- "I got super clear on who I wanted to show up for and how I wanted to engage with them. It’s really easy to get sucked into the trap of trying to speak to everyone. When you try to speak to everyone, you speak to no one."
- "It's crazy to think that the investment of time helped me make $100,000 in my business, and now brands, businesses, and boss ladies hire me to help them do this too!"

[INTRO]
Welcome to "She Believed She Could," the show that is dedicated to helping you show up, shine bright, and achieve abundant success. I am your host and coach, Allison Walsh.
[INTRODUCTION]
Hello, hello! I am beyond blown away that it is officially launch week for "She Believed She Could," the beautiful book baby that I have been working on for so long. I could not be more grateful for this entire experience, and I wanted to catch you up on everything going on behind the scenes.
The last few weeks have been full, from recording the audiobook to media opportunities and speaking at the Women's Conference of Florida. Now it's launch week, and I've been busy tidying up last-minute details, preparing for this exciting week. It's crucial to be prepared for anything when you're working on something significant.
[GRATITUDE]
I want to express my gratitude for your support throughout this process. Hearing from you and learning about your goals and dreams has been incredible. Even if writing a book isn't your goal, I hope you take a chance to bet on yourself. Trust yourself to go after what you want, even if it's unfamiliar. You are smart and resilient, and you don't have to navigate your journey alone.
[FOUNDATION AND MISSION]
Before I share more about the book, I want to highlight the She Believed Foundation. It's a 501(c)(3) nonprofit I started to increase access to personal and professional development opportunities. 100% of the book's proceeds go directly to the foundation. We also offer options for sponsoring books to ensure they reach libraries, schools, or nonprofits. Expanding the reach and mission of this book and nonprofit has ...

More about Elizabeth Tran:
Elizabeth Tran is an environmental advocate with a passion for building organizations from the ground up. She started her non-profit Teens Go Green when she was 12 years old, encouraging minimal waste practices through service events, speaking engagements, and most notably trash fashions.
She was the first pageant contestant to compete in Evening Gown with a dress she made completely out of garbage from her office and home. Sustainability became her life's mission after she was part of Disney's Friends for Change, and worked with her inspirations like Jane Goodall and Zendaya to bring more young people to the forefront.
Elizabeth and her mother Rosanna combined their love for pageants, modeling, event planning, and fundraising through Model4Miracles, the largest charity modeling event in Florida. Over the last 11 years, they have raised over $130,000 for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. Participants enjoy being a model for a day to support the cause. The kids from Children's Miracle Network Hospitals are sponsored as Miracle Supermodels with a red carpet limo experience.
Elizabeth graduated with her Masters in Web Design from the University of Florida with a 4.0 GPA and currently analyzes businesses for international investors and small business owners. Her love for business came from her parents who were immigrant entrepreneurs that moved to the U.S. to pursue their American Dream.

How To Keep What You Earn with Shannon Weinstein
She Believed She Could™ Podcast
09/13/22 • 22 min
Shannon is a CPA, CFO and strategist for small business owners who want more perspective and less paperwork when it comes to their finances. Her company, Fitnancial Solutions, offers accounting, tax strategy and coaching delivered from the heart of a teacher. Her real-life relatable examples make the financial side of business less daunting so you can focus on serving your customers. She is the host of the Top Entrepreneurship podcast Keep What You Earn and a frequent speaker in masterminds and business communities.
MEMORABLE MOMENTS:
“I think that we build this up in our heads because it's something unfamiliar. But when you really look at it, it's not that complicated. If you just have the right guidance and someone telling you what to do. Even if it's just listening and telling you to go open a bank account. It's a lot of simple things that you can do.”
“Ideally, it's proactive versus reactive. So you want to be as proactive as possible, looking forward and planning for the business that you want to have.”
“When a launch happens or income starts coming in unpredictably, you want to be ready to accept that you know what to do and know how much is going to taxes, know what you're saving, and have a plan.”
“I believe information is free and should be abundant and should be shared with everyone. But the implementation and the action is where the real value comes in.”
“And that was like one of my favorite catch phrases or taglines was – Commit, you'll figure it out. I've lived by that for so long. I'm just going to say yes and then my brain and body will get me to a point where that yes was the right answer.”
“Doing it scared, like being scared and doing it anyway, like action first.”
