Conclusion: Screw The Commute's, Tom Antion Continues Dropping Knowledge About eBay, Value Ladders, and Making Your Hobbies Tax-Deductible
01/23/20 • 41 min
Welcome back to another episode of Finding Freedom! I'm your host, Lee Mosler and today we're going to continue with last week's podcast with a comedian turned internet millionaire, Tom Antion from the Screw the Commute Podcast.
Tom and I start by finishing our conversation about eBay, how to grow that business, and even getting a mentor.
Then we move into building a value ladder. We go over what it is and what the next step could look like.
Tom and I spend a lot of time on this topic because it is a very important piece to have in any business. You want your customers and clients to keep coming back and if you have a value ladder, this gives them the reason to do so. We even discuss how to start on a shoestring budget by turning your hobbies into a tax-deductible business.
This episode is jam packed with information that you could start implementing today and building your business from scratch. This episode even made me go through my current business model with An Imagined Reality and fine tune elements of my business.
Here's the conclusion of my talk with Tom Antion from Screw the Commute. Make sure when you're done to head over to screwthecommute.com, like, and subscribe to his podcast.

Screw The Commute! Tom Antion Shares His Knowledge Of The Past 25 Years.
Welcome back to another episode of Finding Freedom! I'm your host, Lee Mosler and today I'm thrilled to bring you a two-part episode with a comedian turned internet millionaire, Tom Antion from the Screw the Commute Podcast.
I've long believed that it's not freedom if you're spending 80% of your life on a job and I know Tom feels the same way. Tom has never had a traditional job but has used his ability as a comedian, and knowledge of people, to make millions of dollars online for the past 23 years.
I was first introduced to Tom while in Washington D.C. at the Military Influencer Conference. And instead of coming off full of himself, Tom was one of the most laid back people there. He was simply there to help those looking for guidance. While he could have been there pushing his products and services like most others were, he was there to serve Veterans as best he could.
Tom and I have kept in touch since then and when I started putting together this podcast, he was more than happy to lend his expertise to an industry he's been in while most of us were too young to even give a crap.
Tom and I talk about how to share your knowledge to get started while keeping your startup costs low. We also talk about the number one skill when starting out and the fanaticism you need if you want to be great. And, it doesn't stop there. We continue to have a conversation about ways to make your hobbies tax deductible and even how a physical business can help create income while not actively working.
So sit back and have a listen, laugh with us, and take some notes as Tom freely gives his knowledge.
Here's my talk with Tom from the Screw the Commute podcast.

Productize Your Knowledge and Learn How To Do It With Michael Short of WaaS-Pro
Michael Short of WaaS-Pro has built a business around websites as a service, meaning quick websites for business professionals very similar to our own AIR: Website Platform, but Michael has taken that a step further.
Michael started building pieces of software that helped expand his site's capabilities and has since turned that into a business. One of the ways he was able to do this was by focusing on the needs of his own business rather than attempting to fill a void in the marketplace. And as it turns out, others needed these services as well, including yours truly.
So I got a chance to sit down with Michael, talk shop so to speak, understand where he came from, what he's doing now and figuring out where WaaS-Pro goes from here.
