Jelka Pesic: The Mother in Law From Hell

When 25-year-old Alexandra Pesic married her husband, Joe, she believed she had found the man of her dreams - that the couple would live out the rest of their years in blissful matrimony. What she didn’t realize at the time, was that she was getting much more than a life partner. She was also getting a meddling mother-in-law, named Jelka Pesic.
While Alexandra believed that Jelka’s controlling and nitpicking behaviour was irritating and fully embodied the traits of a monster-in-law, she had no idea that her life was in danger. Not until she randomly received a copy of a true crime book in the mail featuring the story of a young woman who was terrorized before being murdered. The book highlighted several chilling passages describing horrific acts of violence against the woman - acts that would inspire the mother-in-law from hell to go through with her evil plan.

Linda Chen: A Wedding and a Funeral
Linda Chen was a 32-year-old mother of one with a history of dating terrible, abusive men. She thought her luck had finally changed when she met her fiance Mats Alm. The couple lived together in an apartment in Sweden and were just a week away from their wedding when tragedy struck.
Linda was last seen on a grocery store surveillance camera with her fiancee, Mats. All of the events that happened after that are unclear. Mats took the role of devastated fiancee very seriously during the two months Linda was missing, but there were many - including the police - who didn’t believe his story.
The suspicion was only heightened after Mats claimed he was kidnapped and beaten by two Chinese men who wanted his money. He said he woke up after being assaulted by these men, and to his shock and horror, lying next to him was the body of his missing fiancee, Linda.
