We went to a Winter BBQ! This week we were invited to a Winter BBQ by our good friend, but the twist — it was actually a Braai (South African version of the BBQ).
The recipes we made for this particular party were a good ol’ Mac & Cheese, a Roast Corn salad, and two different types of cake; cup and sheet! Tiff also adorned her “Sausage King” hat and made homemade sausages, the curry flavour was Liam’s favourite, though quite frankly the sausages were being double fisted all night by all attendees!
Join us as we discuss the importance of BBQ in different countries and cultures, and explore the history of BBQ! And generally listen to us talk about our favourite subject; FOOD!
Why is a barbecue called a barbecue?
How did BBQ make us smarter?
What’s the difference between a sausage and a hotdog?
Why are we at drive-throughs in Mcd’s in 1940s for BBQ? And why are the milkshake machines always broken Ray Kroc?!
