It's the summer! And for the Sci-Fighters, that means it's time to play catch-up on all of our geeky interests: watching movies, drawing comics, creating videos and podcasts, and so on! The summer also means a lot of sleeping in, wasting time watching mindless tv, and doing a whole lot of nothing. In tonight's episode, we talk about how we've spent our summer so far, how we'd like to be spending our summer, and whether engaging in our geeky interests is an act of laziness or intentional acts of geekery.

This week, the New Monster crew explores Captain America and the concept of "zero to hero." Along the way, they talk about their favorite underdogs, find out that Ferris Beuller wasn't REALLY the main character, spend just a little too long talking about moisture farming. . . and realize that Lucas is a bit more difficult to control after he has been locked up for a month! The guys at the New Monster Project have been lost and off course but they have finally found their way, and this time they are talking about Geek Holidays. They talk about Free Comic book day, Star Wars day and even the 5th of November. Of course no journey with the Sci-Fighters would be complete without loosing your way a little, so when the winds of divergence hits they talk about things such as How to milk an ewok! Hilarity ensues as the guys once again ventures onto a new topic.
