Why did you start this show?
I wanted an outlet for my shortform weird fiction.
What do you hope listeners gain from listening to your show?
A mild, enjoyable chill rather than total abject terror. There's enough genuine horror in the world, this podcast mainly features fantasy horror, and not situations you're likely to encounter in real life. Unless you live with vampires and demons, of course!
Which episode should someone start with?
No need to start at the beginning, pick any that look appealing. There are no real links between episodes that mean you have to listen to one before the other.
Which have been your favourite episodes so far?
Good parents don't have favourites!
Which episode are you most proud of?
Caveat Lector - the first episode of season 2 - as I started to get the technical side of things, e.g. sound quality, how I wanted it.
What is your vision for your show?
Another series or two, then I'm out of here! Unless Netflix call me with an offer 😉
What is your favourite other podcast that isn't yours?
X-06 FUTURESPY.
How did you come up with the name for your podcast?
It was very difficult! There are so many horror anthologies out there it was hard not to find a title that hadn't been taken. I felt it should be a "Tales of..." as this quickly informs that this is an anthology. However, if the show takes off I might drop this, and just call it 'The Scarlet Vault'.
