As the Victorian local elections approach wrap up, some Nepali-speaking candidates who contested in the NSW local elections in September share their perspectives on the Nepali community's engagement in Australian politics. Listen to their conversation with SBS Nepali. - अस्ट्रेलियाको स्थानीय तहका निर्वाचनमा नेपाली समुदायका सदस्यहरूले दिएको उम्मेदवारीले नेपाली भाषीहरू पनि देशको राजनीतिमा सक्रिय हुन थालेको देखाउने केही उम्मेदवारहरू बताउँछन्। गत सेप्टेम्बरमा सम्पन्न भएको न्यु साउथ वेल्सको स्थानीय चुनाव लडेका मध्ये केहीले भने यसरी चुनावमा उठिरहँदा नामको लागि मात्र उम्मेदवार बनाउने भन्दा पनि जित्ने सम्भावना भएका सिटमा पनि आफ्नो दाबेदारी दिन सक्नु पर्ने बताएका छन्। यस लगायत भिक्टोरियामा जारी चुनावमा उठेका उम्मेदवारहरूलाई केही सुझाव सहित तिनले एसबीएस नेपालीसँग गरेको कुराकानी सुन्नुहोस्।

Among the Nepali-speaking candidates contesting the local council elections in Victoria this October, Ananta Raj Poudel is running for the councillor position from Mount Ridley Ward under Hume City Council.
