The Circus of Wayward Wonders has been destroyed. A swift strike with swords and flames has left the circus in catastrophe. Attacked while they were at their most vulnerable, many are missing. Many are dead. Facing the devastation, Uri, Kale and Javier must take action now, and so they find themselves venturing toward The Celestial Menagerie, to bring Mistress Dusklight to justice, once and for all.

The Wonderers have left the caverns, ridding them of Xulgaths, dinosaurs and demons, restoring peace to the temple. A vision revealed the ancient story of the god Aroden, as well as his death, though a prophecy may have shown Kale that he himself might be the key to restoring the Aeon Orbs. However, disaster burns ahead, and The Circus of Wayward Wonders is engulfed in flames.
