The rugby pods unite…ahead of round three!
It’s Wednesday which can only mean one thing in Rugby Union Daily land – it’s time for the rugby pods to come together once again. In this episode Chris Jones is joined by Radio Scotland’s Rugby Pod presenter, Tom English and Lauren Jenkins from BBC Radio Wales’ Scrum V podcast to look ahead to an exciting set of fixtures going into round three of the Six Nations. But after the results from round two, Tom isn’t as chipper as Lauren and is still nursing his wounds after Wales beat Scotland last time out – but it’s another week and this time Scotland are preparing to face the French at Murrayfield and the guys discuss how important home advantage could be on Saturday. Attention turns to one of the biggest rivalries in sport as Wales travel to Twickenham to face England – and with some familiar faces returning to both camps they discuss if this Welsh side have what it takes to overcome Eddie Jones’ men, and they look ahead to what team Andy Farrell could possibly pick, when Ireland face Italy on Sunday.
