For our inaugural episode of RUGBURN we talk with current Burlington Chiefs (OJALL) defender Will Cecile. Will was scheduled to join Canada and the Canadian Lacrosse League in Melbourne, Australia for the 2020 IIJL Commonwealth Cup in March - everything was put on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Will breaks down the balancing act of being a Nursing Student at the University of Windsor. He also runs through his progression as a player, switching from offence to defence, and making the jump from Junior B to Junior A. Stay until the end of the episode where we get a glimpse into the life of a rookie in junior lacrosse when Will shares his all-time favourite haircut courtesy of some of his teammates.

Landon has had a run of unprecedented success; selected 12th overall in 2017 OJALL Midget Draft, 2018 CLA Founders Cup, 2019 IIJL World Junior Lacrosse Championship Gold Medal with Canada and named 1st Team All-World, 2019 CLA Mann Cup, and selected 46th over all in the 2019 NLL Entry Draft.
Landon provides some valuable insight into his progression and the adjustments young goaltenders need to make if they hope to find success in their transition from Junior to the National Lacrosse League.
