Uncensored Mother-Daughter Conversations Series Presents...
From Heartbreak to Healing - Breaking the Cycle of the Mother-Daughter Wound
I almost did not post this NOT because the content isn't rich BUT because I almost tripped myself up in my own kryptonite - PERFECTIONISM. However, I blew up that kryptonite in favor of growth and here is why.
My mom, Wendy & I went live on Zoom unscripted + uncensored this past Sunday. It was my first podcast. I was excited, thrilled + everything was a green light. Until we started the live and technology got the best of us. I could of let it all go sideways, panic, or shrink but I wasn't feeling that vibe. So we went on - as is - in our most vulnerable state. It was like the universe showed up + amplified the vulnerability with a dash of technology (because I am always complaining about technology! I got the memo universe, "flip the script girl" if you want to manifest smooth podcasts ~ ffs!).
As you will hear in this very raw podcast with my mom, I talk openly about my kryptonite. I know it is a super hero cape I wear to get connection + attention in the outside world when I feel vulnerable or exposed. I also know it is an OLD core wound that doesn't get the driver's seat any longer. I know when perfectionism shows up - I need to sit with it long enough for a new pattern of vulnerability + growth to show up. I know to be playful + creative and tap into my soul essence and when I do that - I hear the whispers of the woo woo telling me how to move forward. It sounded like this "Isn't this what you are teaching women? To be vulnerable and show up for themselves? To blow the glass ceiling off of their current reality? Sooooo why not be even more vulnerable, post the damn episode! Because you know how important this is to the world you ding dong!" AHHHHH, yes. Walk your talk dummy!
So not only did I have a very open and vulnerable conversation with my mom about our mother/daughter wound - I was called to amplify my vulnerability to give you the truest and rawest look into how messy it is when you stand in your full EMPOWERMENT + SOVEREIGNTY!
It's not scripted, edited, curated, deleted, minimized. It is showing up in all my authenticity and role modeling what undoing your kryptonite looks like. When I do this - I get to continue to live a life that I fully embrace and enjoy. A life that is abundant with inner-freedom, vitality, and
