5 Reasons Why God Needs A Rapture
Rightly Dividing the Word of Truth
06/01/21 • 37 min
Why does God need the Rapture of the Church?
Why is there a Rapture in God’s plan for the End Times?
Why can’t Christians simply stay on earth and wait for the second coming of Jesus Christ at the end of the 7-year Tribulation?
I will answer those questions and more in this podcast.
Greetings, I'm Dr. Paul Felter.
Welcome to my podcast where I expose church fallacies and flawed Christian traditions with Bible truth.

In this podcast I will give you 5 Reasons why the Rapture is necessary in God’s prophetic plan for the ages.
1. To end the dispensation of grace and return to the Law of Moses.
2. To preach the gospel of the Kingdom again in all the world.
3. To commence the 7-year Tribulation for Israel.
4. To pour out the wrath of God and the Lamb
5. The marriage of the Lamb

Matthew 15 | The True Purpose of Jesus' Ministry
Rightly Dividing the Word of Truth
12/03/20 • 7 min
Matthew 15
Is Jesus speaking to us, the church, the body of Christ, in Matthew 15?
What was the true earthly ministry of Jesus?
As a general question about the gospels, Is Jesus speaking to you in the red letters?
Greetings, I'm Dr. Paul Felter. Welcome to my video-podcast where we expose church fallacies and flawed Christian traditions with Bible truth. We let the Bible speak for itself.
As always, I put to practice the apostle Paul's command in 2nd Timothy 2:15
“Study to show thyself approved of God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”
Two keywords in that passage; “study”, we are to study the word of God not just read it. And, “dividing”, the proper method of study is to divide the word, not harmonize it. We are to divide truth from truth. There is a body of truth for Israel and a body of truth for the body of Christ in this present church age, the dispensation of grace. Mixing and mingling Israel truth under the law of Moses and our truth under grace causes much error, misapplication of scripture and false doctrine.
There are several interesting passages in Matthew 15, but the account of the Canaanite woman is most interesting to me as it reveals the true purpose of Jesus’ ministry.

The Apostle Paul - Mysteries of the Church Part 1
Rightly Dividing the Word of Truth
01/23/22 • 35 min
What is a Biblical mystery?
Why was it kept a mystery and not part of prophecy?
What are the mysteries revealed by Jesus Christ to the apostle Paul?
Greetings, I'm Dr. Paul Felter. Welcome to my video podcast, where I expose church fallacies and flawed Christian traditions with Bible truth. I let the Bible speak for itself.
Since all scripture is given by inspiration of God, then we need to let God speak through His word. Sadly, most Christians redefine or reinterpret the Bible to match their mind. But scripture says to transform our minds to match God’s word, the Bible.
"And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." - Romans 12:2 KJV
We are to renew our minds to conform to the Bible. Not redefine the Bible to conform to our minds. We renew our minds by the continual study of God’s word. The battle today is for control of the mind. Whatever controls your mind controls your life.
What is a mystery in the Biblical context?
A Biblical mystery is "hidden wisdom" previously unrevealed or kept secret. Paul writes in 1st Cor 2 verse 7;
"But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:" - 1 Corinthians 2:7 KJV
Romans 16 verse 25;
"Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began," - Romans 16:25 KJV
Ephesians 3 verse 9;
"And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:" - Ephesians 3:9 KJV
Colossians 1 verse 26;
"Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:" - Colossians 1:26 KJV
The mystery of the church, the body of Christ, was hidden in God the Father until the appropriate time for its revelation to the world. That moment came to Saul of Tarsus after his Damascus Road conversion. The mystery of the gospel and dispensation of grace to save Gentiles created in the mind of God before the world began was finally revealed to Saul, our apostle Paul, through whom the church, the body of Christ began.

Romans 12 - What is a Living Sacrifice?
Rightly Dividing the Word of Truth
05/04/21 • 13 min
Romans 12
The apostle Paul opens this chapter with a peculiar charge.
Verse 1.
"I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service." - Romans 12:1 KJV
Paul charges those at Rome to present themselves to God as a “living sacrifice.” What is a “living sacrifice?” Those Jews and proselytes understood the Jewish sacrificial system of presenting an animal to the priest to be killed as a sacrifice to God. But a “living sacrifice” is a new concept. A living sacrifice is a life presented to God, offered to do His will fulfilling His purposes. A life of continued service, not a one-time sacrifice. Paul adds that a life of continued service to God is your reasonable duty. A living sacrifice is a sacrifice of service as the Lord Jesus Christ made the once for all sacrifice for sin on Calvary’s Cross.
I have said from the beginning that the intended audience of Romans was Jews and proselytes. But there is much truth in Romans, as in every book of the Bible, for us to learn. The previous verse is a good example. Even though a Jew would better understand, as they were in a sacrificial system. We Gentiles can see that we must surrender to God in service. Seeking His will for our lives by walking in the Spirit. God has a plan for our lives and we should seek him daily. Just because a book of the Bible was not written directly to the church, the body of Christ, does not mean that we should ignore it. On the contrary, every book of the Bible has spiritual truth for us to glean. The entire Bible was written for us, but not to us. That’s important to remember.

Romans 1 - The Wise Become Fools | The Reprobate Mind

The book of Romans was written by the apostle Paul from Corinth, Greece while on his third missionary journey around 58 A.D.
When Paul wrote this epistle, he had yet to visit Rome, but was planning a stop there on his way to Spain, a journey he never made.
The founder of the assembly of believers at Rome is unknown. Tradition has it that Peter started the church at Rome, but history and the scriptures prove that to be a myth. There is no evidence that the apostle Peter was ever in Rome.
Paul states in Romans 15:20 that he would never build on another man’s work.
"Yea, so have I strived to preach the gospel, not where Christ was named, lest I should build upon another man's foundation:"
In 33 A.D. a number of Jews and proselytes lived in Rome. Many traveled to the feast of Pentecost in Jerusalem described in Acts chapter 2:10 where Peter states that some of those present were strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes.
Since three thousand Jews believed and were baptized at Pentecost that day, it’s safe to assume some were from Rome. When they returned home, they told other Jews and proselytes of their experience at Jerusalem and that Jesus Christ was the long-awaited Messiah of Israel.
Obviously, many Jews and proselytes believed in Jesus as Messiah of Israel because that is the group to which Paul is writing.
Chapters 1 through 8 of the book of Romans are a transition from the basic view of God as creator in chapter 1, then to the law given to Moses, finally to the doctrines of grace given to Paul beginning in chapter 3. Paul wants to move the believers in Rome, who believe they are under the law of Moses, hence proselytes, to being under grace without the works of the law. So, knowing this is critical to your understanding the first eight chapters of Romans. The transition is from simple obedience to God, then the law of Moses, and finally to grace given to the apostle Paul. Today, we do not live via simple obedience to God as He is not speaking directly to anyone like He spoke to Noah or Abraham. We also do not live today by keeping the law of Moses as we are not under the law but under grace...

Parable of the Ten Virgins | What is the significance of the oil?
Rightly Dividing the Word of Truth

Parable of the Ten Virgins
Do the ten virgins represent the church, the body of Christ, or Israel?
What is the significance of the lamp oil?
Why were the five foolish virgins excluded from the marriage feast just because they were late?
Greetings, I'm Dr. Paul Felter. Welcome to my video-podcast where I expose church fallacies and flawed Christian traditions with Bible truth. I let the Bible speak for itself.
The parable of the ten virgins found in Matthew chapter 25:1-13 is a much-misunderstood parable. Many so called prophecy experts interpret the parable as a stand alone passage without asking some simple basic questions that should be asked and answered with every passage of scripture.
1. Who is speaking?
2. Who is the intended audience?
3. What is the timeframe or setting?
Only by correctly answering these questions can one make proper application of the passage.
Let’s read the passage, then I will answer the three questions.
"Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not. Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh." - Mat 25:1–13 KJV

The Church that Jesus Built! Matthew 16 Explained!
Rightly Dividing the Word of Truth
05/28/24 • 23 min
During His earthly ministry, Jesus promised that he would build a church, an assembly of believers. Many today believe Jesus was referring to us, we who are being saved during this present dispensation of grace. But is that true? Was Jesus referring to us, the church, the body of Christ, or did he have some other group in mind? Let’s begin our study in Matthew’s gospel.
