What the Resurrection Means to Me

Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. (Romans 6:4, NKJV)
These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world. (John 16:33, NKJV)
He is risen! He is risen indeed! Jesus gave himself up for you and be to defeat death and the grave forever. The troubles of this life become very small when you realize the bigness and the goodness of God. We see the heart of the Father through the resurrection because we see that He wanted us to be alive with Him forever! What a gift. Happy Resurrection Day!

The Faithful and True Witness

The brain is a remarkable thing that God has given us to help us navigate our life, but it was never meant to lead us. God leads us through our hearts and our spirit. We are best led through life by God, our loving Creator. His Spirit is our Faithful and True Witness. Christians should be the least gullible people in the world because the Spirit of God inhabits them. They can always check in with the Spirit and be confident that they will be led by Truth.

The Vision

There is nothing that can stop the vision of God. His vision is that the entire world would know His love, and it's happening NOW! When people say love is not enough, they are talking about human love. Fix your eyes on God's love, which will always be enough!

When you see how much God loves you, fear leaves, transformation takes place, you find yourself loving others like Jesus does. Take a stand for GOD'S VISION above all else!
1 CORINTHIANS 13:8-13
"Love never stops loving. It extends beyond the gift of prophecy, which eventually fades away. It is more enduring than tongues, which will one day fall silent. Love remains long after words of knowledge are forgotten. Our present knowledge and our prophecies are but partial, but when love’s perfection arrives, the partial will fade away. When I was a child, I spoke about childish matters, for I saw things like a child and reasoned like a child. But the day came when I matured, and I set aside my childish ways.

For now, we see but a faint reflection of riddles and mysteries as though reflected in a mirror, but one day we will see face-to-face. My understanding is incomplete now, but one day I will understand everything, just as everything about me has been fully understood. Until then, there are three things that remain: faith, hope, and love—yet love surpasses them all. So above all else, let love be the beautiful prize for which you run."
