Honoring the Dishonored
In 1 Corinthians 12:13-26 Paul talks about the unity and diversity of the body. The body is not one member but many. And on those members of the body we think less honorable, on these we bestow greater honor. God gives greater honor to those that lack it so that there would be no schism or division within the body. If one member suffers, all the members suffer with it. If one is honored, all the member rejoice with it. There are numerous instances of Jesus honoring the "dishonored" so that they might be healed and any division of "us vs. them" be eliminated. The wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God. Bestowing honor on those who seem to be "not deserving" has the capacity to bring healing and unity.

Love Cannot Be Dominated
"And without question, the person who has the power to give a blessing is greater than the one who is blessed." (Hebrews 7:7, NLT) What looks like weakness is actually strength. What looks like a doormat can actually be an elevator. Love is our new nature that is continually rising within us, overtaking our thoughts... "because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us." (Romans 5:5, NKJV)
