Buffy the Vampire Slayer season 6, episode 12, "Doublemeat Palace": -Synopsis -There is mad love and mad hate for this episode. -Sarah Michele Gellar was in Burger King commercials as a kid. -The burgers are not made of people, they're made of VEGETABLES! *GASP* Beef fat is the secret ingredient. -Sex in the alley sounds, well sexy, but it didn't look it at all. -What is going on with Buffy and Spike here? -Was Helfrich right in her understanding of the Xander/Anya relationship? -Xander constantly correcting Anya is usually played for laughs, but is it at least a little problematic? -It was the old lady! Didn't see that one coming. -Amy 'gifts' Willow some magic for her birthday. Was it retaliation or an actual 'gift'? -Willow is working hard to overcome her addiction, and we just hope the show sticks through this to the end. -Maj shares the German and French titles for this episode. -Xander and Dawn discuss Buffy's job prospects for the future. -Buffy really should be getting paid by the Watcher's Council and Willow should be helping pay the bills if she's gonna live there. -Favorite Scenes -Favorite Lines Angel season 3, episode 12, "Provider": -Synopsis -Oh how the tables have turned! Angel is now the financially concerned one, while Cordy is mission-focused. -Cordy, you can't take a baby to a beheading. -Buffy and Angel both were money-themed episodes, and this isn't the first time the themes have lined up with these shows. -The Holtz scenes definitely seem like filler, and we find them mostly annoying. -Jeffrey Dean Morgan makes a clean shaven appearance. -Fan theory is that Jack and Sam's relationship was a little more than best friends. -Who would you rather see with Fred: Wesley, Gunn (or both)? -No sign of Cordy's demon side... yet. -German/French titles -Connor has a dedicated little family around him with Aunt Cordy, Uncle Wes, Uncle Gunn, and Aunt Fred. -Favorite Scenes -Favorite Lines Kristen's Kontemplations/Ariana's Answers: -Buffy the Vampire Slayer season 6, episode 13, “Dead Things” -Angel season 3, episode 13, “Waiting in the Wings” Contact us! This group is SO FREAKIN’ CUTE. –Cordy! is the show we need to see on television -Cordelia’s visions are killing her. -SPIKE IS BACK thanks to fans asking for his return. -Did we write over history or adjacent to it? -Mitch needs to stop questioning science. -You can watch some of Cordy! if you really want to do some digging (or you have the DVDs). -AU Wesley is a badass, if not a clumsy rogue demon hunter. -Cordy still finds her way back to saving the girl. -Bad timing on the part of Spike. -ANGEL IS SO AFRAID OF CORDELIA DYING. -THEY KISS. -Wait… did Doyle and Angel kiss? -Cordelia decides being a demon is not half-bad, especially if she can keep her visions. -Favorite Scenes -Favorite Lines Listener Feedback: -Can a vampire love? -That last scene in “Wrecked.” -Umm, how did that scene in “Gone” get through censors? -We discuss Willow’s magic and the implications of her relationship with power. -Here’s some Marti Noxon background. -This week’s Buffy is especially gross as the Trio goes into full on villain mode.
-Buffy is willing to confess to killing Katrina. She’s taking the moral high ground as a hero.
-Spike ate a decorator like on iZombie.
-Spike and Buffy’s behavior is mutually inappropriate/
-Sarah Michelle Gellar’s least favorite scene ever also felt out of character for us.
-Spike and Buffy would work if they could both just be normal humans. But they’re not.
-Tara is still the best and she deserves so much better than these people.

Angel season 3, episode 13, "Waiting in the Wings":
-The Dumpster Love is in full force.
-Angel is such a dork and we love him and his artistic side.
-This episode gives us Phantom of the Opera vibes. But no, Mitch, it does not take place at the opera.
-Lorne gets Angel to confess that he’s crushing hard on Cordy.
-And Natalie points out that Angel says Cordy is the MOST BEAUTIFUL GIRL HE’S EVER SEEN.
-Twist! Gunn gets the girl.
-And Wes was giving some folks dark vibes BUT THEY ARE WRONG because Wesley handled his loss like a gentleman.
-Ugh. Go home, Groo.
