Superfans: Selina and Natalie
Newbies: Brittany and Mitch
Fun Facts:
Mitch saw some awesome Buffy props a few months ago, but they are only just starting to make sense. He saw Mr. Pointy! Brittany drove all over NJ to find the Gilmore Girls EW cover and failed. Selina keeps getting spoiled with all the Gilmore Girls revival news. Natalie has never seen Gilmore Girls and is vacationing in a hotel that was once the hospital where Alan Turing was born.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer season 2 episodes 21 and 22, “Becoming Part 1” and "Becoming Part 2":
-Newbie reactions: Mitch should have seen it coming! Brittany was underwhelmed.
-Angel's origin story, there wasn't much human there to destroy
-Ryan Murphy totally ripped off this vampire lore
-Dru in the real world had visions, she already had the power before she became a vampire
-The Buffy extended universe is worth exploring
-Dru has some of her best moments in this episode, but she is still the worst
-Angel's backstory was quite horrible until he met Whistler
-Angel is incredibly awkward and lived in a bin for 90 YEARS, he has no personality
-Let's chat about vampire personalities
-Rewriting history from the Buffy movie and the less-than-attentive watcher
-Man, Giles is so great compared to this guy
-Low-key Buffy stalking leads him to become a hero
-Sibling couples? But it also makes Buffy apart even more than before
-Willow's dark magic is setting her apart a bit more from Xander by giving her more agency
-Xander flies off the handle with his motives
-All villains want to destroy the world! But have they thought this through?
-Kendra dies and it is so frustrating
-Apparently Jenny was not a major character... -_-
-But Principal Snyder is so strange and unfortunately alive
-Xander and Willow and Oz, love triangle?
-When are vampires good and vampires bad?
-Joyce now knows what is going on: we have mixed reactions on Joyce
-Angel is not worthy, but gets the secret from Giles through torture
-Spike is useful up to a point, but then bounces with Drusilla who passes out because she can't breathe? What?
-ANGEL IS BACK
-ANGEL IS DEAD

Listener Feedback:
Everyone is excited for us to get to the S2 finale!
But also S3 is going to be great!
Buffy and Once overlap, so obvious now.
Steph is watching/finished ATLA and gives us so much nostalgia
