This 35 minute Yoga Nidra meditation is for those dark times of deep sorrow and sadness. Yoga Nidra is backed by science as a way to become less emotionally reactive and to balance the nervous system. Yoga Nidra is not a yoga practice, it is translated to Yoga Sleep, and is usually done by lying down or finding rest in a comfortable and supported seated position. Prior experience is not necessary.

A very big and special thank you to my teacher, Ally Boothroyd. Subscribe https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sMrEhPz-kPE or visit her website for her yoga teacher training, workshops, and retreats https://www.sarovarayoga.ca.
It should be noted that some people can be distressed by meditation and mindfulness and therefore this might not be appropriate for everyone and is not a treatment for any disorder and is not a substitute for professional care.
